Friday Night Spotlight shows aren't just normal shows. Nope. These are the big deals. They take venues of all shapes and sizes in many locations and showcase the crème de la crème of the local underground. The work and school week's over. It's time to chill to some good tunes, rock out to some heavy shit, and create some new memories.
The strategy's a little different than our [raw promo gig] shows. We're doing all we can to make these the top shows out there in the local music scene. They feature artists in many genres, sometimes even beyond rock music. If you don't know these artists yet, don't worry. You will.
TAKE PRIDE IN YOUR SCENE! IT IS ONLY AS GOOD AS YOU MAKE IT!
Tips for Optimal Underground Music Success
1. Attend when the show begins. The show doesn't start when your favorite band is there to play. The show starts at the start time. Don't miss this hand crafted lineup.
2. Don't sit outside and smoke the whole time. You can do that at home.
3. Spread the word. Send out event invites and bring your friends to the gig. (Also, check out the area at the bottom about how you can get in for free if you invite people!)
4. Respect one another. Shit talk somewhere else.
5. Stay safe and use your head. Don't stand in the middle of the pit if you don't want to get hit. Also, attend at your own risk and attend responsibly.
