Songs That Made The Movies

The Picture House presents:
“SONGS THAT MADE THE MOVIES”
All-ages live music show
Friday, March 8, 7.30pm.
FREE FOR MEMBERS*, $20 others, $10 kids
To celebrate the movie awards season, The Picture House presents a live music and audiovisual show on the theater’s Community Stage showcasing Oscar©-nominated songs, from the big musicals of the 30s and 40s through today.
Pelham musical group Mary and The Boys are joined on stage by a cavalcade of guest performers, adults and teens, bringing to life classic movie tunes including “I’ve Got You Under My Skin,” “Moon River,” “Mrs. Robinson,” “Pretty Woman,” “Man of Constant Sorrow” and “Live and Let Die.” An audiovisual commentary will preface each iconic song and shed light on the movie it came from; the stars, directors, singers and songwriters.
Since the show is free for our members to thank them for their support, this is the perfect time for you to become a member of The Picture House family. See the link above to join and enjoy the many benefits of membership.
Reservations (members, too) are strongly recommended to secure a seat. Don’t miss out on this unique show.
* Number of free tickets according to membership level.
