BJSR:
Genre - Pop/Folk/Indie
Members - Ben Rivet
Hometown - Dayton, OH

Ben Rivet, performing under the name BJSR, has been cutting his musical teeth in Ohio for the last eight years since moving from the Mitten to study music at the University of Dayton. A 6 month cruise ship gig, robust Freshman EP, several succesful music video releases and a handful of Midwest and National tours, Rivet has been paying his dues and honing his skills in the ever-changing Indepent music scene. Whether it's with his guitar, his looping station and beatboxing, or with a variety of band arrangements, Rivet's baritone voice and indie, folk, pop influences are the connective tissue behind "BJSR". With a strong emphasis of artistic collaboration, his "Solo" project continues to showcase up-and-coming talent in the fields of music, video, photography and fine arts to tell a story of growing up a "Lover". His current endeavor will feature a series of remixes, music videos, art exhibitions, pressings and live performances based off his first six-song release, AXE AND VOX. The multimedia package has been dubbed "AXED AND VOXED" and will see unique releases with producers and artists from across the country over the next few months.

In support of AXED AND VOXED, he's slapping his 4 initials on as much merch as he can to get his name out there and tell the world his story. With Spring and Summer tours and a gaggle of releases on the horizon, get ready to see "BJSR" on blogs, twitter feeds and even a #goodplaid or two.
