**Advance registration for Strings 360º is in place until Friday 4/26/13. After this date, we welcome walk up registrations without parking or lunch. If you are interested in participating, please bring your instrument and arrive at 9:30 at 922 Park Ave (Singleton Center) to register by check the day of the event. If you are interested in Tokyo tickets, please buy online, they are likely to sell out.

Strings 360 has combined with VCU's Cellopaloosa to bring you a full day of workshops for the serious string player. Bring your instrument, be inspired, and take your playing to the next level. VCU String Faculty and special guest artists: Tokyo String Quartet. 10am-10pm.

Strings 360 Participants and their Families are eligible Tokyo String Quartet Tickets for the concert 5/4/13. Once you buy your registration to Strings 360º, you will be emailed a discount code for a total of up to four $25 tickets, which is 20% below the regular price. You should buy your tickets quickly after registration because the concert will sell out. The tickets are bought separately from the workshop. The Tokyo concert that night will be very special, as the quartet is scheduled to retire in July 2013.

Competition:

Players aged 13 through 18 may take part in our Competition 360°, where they can compete to perform in a master class taught by Tokyo Quartet members. Competitors are strongly encouraged to bring their own pianist, but one will be provided by Strings 360º for those need one. The competition takes place 5/3/2013 in the evening, which is the day before the actual event.

Total enrollment for Strings 360° will be limited to 140 people, and registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis once a registration link is up. Participating instruments are violin, viola and cello (sorry, no bass).

Lunch:

May be bought or brought. Dinner is on your own at one of the fan restaurants or VCU dining hall. The Tokyo String Quartet concert is at 8pm.

Following the payment of your tickets, you will be guided through a registration process.
