God contributed many of his attributes to his design for our lives. One of these qualities is His love. Through His love, He is the solution to every problem and need. He is our provider, salvation, and Lord. He is our Good Shepherd, who wants to take care of us, making sure we eat good food and drink fresh water while keeping us united as one body. He is our teacher of life and he wants us to gain from Him the knowledge and understanding that will shape our existence, behavior, skills, values, and preferences.
God does not want us to dwell on our problems. Sure, we acknowledge they exist, but He doesn’t want us to linger on them. Instead, He wants us to trust Him and redirect our focus on keeping our minds, hearts, and souls on the solution, producing a positive response of thinking, doing, and speaking in love about the good and glorious things found in His Word. He wants us to absorb, process, and retain his divine message to bring together divine cognitive, emotional, and environmental influences and experiences in our lives.

Throughout, Who are you: Learning to live your life in love—following Christ, it focuses on the love of God and offers practical biblical life applications to help you live a life of love. It will help you experience and focus on the love of God.

Love is the measure of our faith, the inspiration for our obedience, the purpose for our salvation, and the true altitude of our discipleship. His love is our breakthrough—it always has been and always will be.
