Carnegie Mellon Concert Choir and Repertory Chorus

Robert Page will conduct the combined Concert Choir and Repertory Chorus in a performance of Orff's Carmina Burana. The Choirs will be joined by the Carnegie Mellon Percussion Ensemble, faculty members Mark Carver and Luz Manriquez on piano, and School of Music alumni - Elisabeth Turchi, soprano; Dillon McCartney, tenor; and Dimitrie Lazich, baritone. $5 general admission. Students free w/ valid ID.

There are two major choral ensembles in the School of Music: Concert Choir and Repertory Chorus. They are combined twice during the academic year to perform with the Carnegie Mellon Philharmonic. The Concert Choir is an elite, carefully auditioned ensemble of 40-50 of the best singing musicians at Carnegie Mellon. The Repertory Chorus is open to the entire campus community and performs a wide spectrum of choral literature.
