Beginner Mat

Level: Not yet experienced in Pilates

Beginner Mat focuses on the basic principles at work in the Pilates abdominal control, breathing, concentration, centering, precision, posture and basic body awareness are emphasized. Arm Weights may be included.

Intermediate Mat
10:00 - 10:45am
Emilie Miller

Level: Experienced in Pilates/Able to exercise body control

Once you have mastered the basic principles of the beginner Mat moving to an intermediate or advanced level is simply a matter of applying what you have learned to a more challenging set of exercises. The pace of this Mat is more dynamic and the emphasis is on fluidity of movement.

Beginner/Intermediate Mat with Thera Band

Level: Ready to begin trying basic intermediate exercises

This class is for those familiar with Mat terminology. Through the use of resistance bands this class will help target your hard-to-tone areas like low abs, backs of arms, shoulders, buns and inner thighs.

Cast members from Mamma Mia, celebrating it's 10th year on Broadway, teach a class inspired by the choreography from the smash-hit musical!

Intermediate Mat with Magic Circle

For those who have mastered the basic principles and are ready for a more challenging set of exercises and expectations. Ready for a more dynamic pace and emphasis on fluidity of movement and transitions. This intermediate mat class will target your hard-to-tone areas like your lower abs and inner/outer thighs by using the Magic Circle to deepen your connection to the powerhouse.
