CSP Prep Workshop

This three-day course is designed to prepare individual for the Comprehensive Examination leading to certification as a Certified Safety Professional (CSP). Eligible participants who have successfully passed the Fundamental Examination, or were exempt because of another certification acceptable to the BCSP such as CIH, CHP, PE, GSP, etc. This course covers all three areas of the exam. The course consists of lectures, sample problems, and discussions on a variety of subjects to prepare the student for the exam. Pertinent reference materials are also discussed to allow students to focus their studies in specific areas prior to sitting for the exam. In particular, this course will:
• Provide an outline for study for those beginning their preparation
• “Fine tune” participants who have been preparing for the exam
• Review details and current blueprints for test subjects
• Provide practice problems
• Review current suggested readings and other study aids
• Identify area where participants need additional study

Classes will be conducted from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm each day at the Constructors Association of Western Pennsylvania facility located at 1201 Banksville Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15216. Registration is limited to the first 40 participants for the workshop. The workshop will be cancelled if there are less than 15 participants. Early Registration ends on September 30, 2012 and all registration ends October 15, 2012. A TI-30XIIS scientific calculator is included in the cost of the course, as well as lunch and snacks.
