Our first concert of the season - Time Remembered/Time Forgotten - features the Pittsburgh premiere of Robert S. Cohen's Alzheimer's Stories, a touching oratorio which captures the memories of families, friends and individuals affected by the disease. Coinciding with this hopeful and moving work is Howard Hansen's Song of Democracy, which brings to life the words of Walt Whitman's poetry about school-aged youth and the values that young people carry forth from this generation to the next.
