University Row is a 100% volunteer-run effort and has no profit motive to feed. Tents are sponsored and managed by officially-chartered non-profit alumni groups, with help from the central steering committee of the Alumni Events Alliance. A strict standard of ethics binds all who participate as Anchors or Tent Partners. Guests are invited at the discretion of tent organizers.
Tickets to the 11th Annual University Row are being sold by the 11 sponsoring alumni Anchor groups, in cooperation with their Tent Partners and the Alumni Events Alliance.
Terms and Conditions
You must agree to the following terms and conditions:
I understand that valid Proof of Age is required at the gate, and that because of state laws governing the consumption of alcohol, no one born after May 2nd, 1988, will be admitted.
Tickets are non-refundable if event is cancelled for reason(s) including, but not limited to: acts of God; acts of war; national emergency; security; and public health. In the event of an emergency cancellation, the AEA and the relevant University Row Anchor will make their best efforts to refund as much of the ticket purchase price as possible, less pro-rated non-recoverable expenses, handling, and processing fees. Purchaser must apply for (partial) refund(s) in writing, include copies of receipts, and all requests must be postmarked no later than May 17th, 2009.
I understand that all guests receiving tickets from me are bound by these conditions and the policies posted on the FAQ section of this Website.
Ticket sales on the grounds of Great Meadow are prohibited.
Check-in for Tent + Bus ticketholders will begin at 9:30am at the atrium area of Rock Bottom and Union Jack's at Ballston Common Mall.
Check-in for Tent-Only tickets will begin at 12:00pm at the onsite check-in table at the entrance to University Row.
Tent-Only tickets include admission to University Row only. Transportation and admission onto the grounds of Great Meadow are the responsibility of each Tent-Only ticket holder. Tent-Only ticket holders must enter Great Meadow in a vehicle with a Car Pass. Car Passes must be purchased in advance from the AEA or from a Virginia Gold Cup outlet location. Car Passes are not available at the gate.
Car Passes do not include admission into University Row. Only Tent + Bus or Tent-Only tickets grant admission into University Row. Shipping is included.
