Momentum reflects on its modern dance roots with a diverse program of new and historic works. Artistic Director Delma Iles premieres a new satirical work inspired, or maybe provoked, by the current economic crisis. The program also includes Iles’ highly acclaimed and meditative work Mandala with its critically praised lighting design by Bruce Brown. Plus Anna Sokolow’s historic 1985 lyrical work Poems of Scriabin, created for Momentum by the modern dance genius during a visit to Miami; and former soloist Odman Felix’s Harum, a smash hit at the Miami International Book fair Gala in October!
