Monologue & Movement
A weeklong summer experience for young teens

This unique theatre-and-dance camp, created by Prime Stage Theatre and Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, will inspire creativity, self-confidence and clarity in middle school students entering grades 5-9.

Professional instructors, with practical experience in dance, movement, voice, acting and improvisation, will lead students through a series of workshops in the classroom and on the stage. Students will also develop their skills of reading text and plays aloud. By the end of the intensive, weeklong session, participants will have discovered ways to express their individuality and gained new mastery over the tools they have as performers.

During the Friday Afternoon Showcase at the New Hazlett Theater, participants will share what they have learned with family, peers, and friends.

Monologue & Movement runs from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm each day

Students will bring their own lunches Monday-Friday.
