Special Keynote Speaker: Gary Johnson is an American businessman, triathlete, and libertarian-leaning Republican politician who served as the 29th Governor of New Mexico, from 1994 to 2002. He is the Honorary Chairman of the Our America Initiative. Which as a 501c4 non-profit advocacy committee that seeks to broaden the parameters of the public policy debate of current topics in the national arena.

As Governor, Johnson was known for his common-sense business approach to governing. He eliminated New Mexico’s budget deficit and cut the rate of growth in state government in half. During his term, New Mexico experienced the longest period without a tax increase in the state’s history. Additionally, Governor Johnson vetoed 750 bills (which was more than all the combined vetoes of the other 49 Governors in the country at the time) and thousands of line item vetoed bills. He is known for his creation of a level playing field in business, and the prevention of favoritism in regulation and laws.

Art Thompson is the CEO of the John Birch Society. He joined the Society in May 1964 and rose through the ranks becoming a successful Area Coordinator for The John Birch Society in the 1970s. He left the staff to go back into business in 1981 and returned to the staff again in the 1990s.

Art has held virtually every volunteer and staff position in the Society, including National Director of Development and Communications and National Director of Field Activities.

For several years, he represented the Society in a variety of media events, including appearing on "60 Minutes" and conducting tours for JBS Speakers Bureau. He resides in Appleton, Wisconsin with his wife Joanne.

Richard Mack is the former two term sheriff of Graham County, Arizona, who sued the Clinton administration during the mid-90s over the Brady Bill. His case went all the way to the US Supreme Court, and he WON! He currently travels around the country educating sheriffs about their powers to protect their constituents from abuse by the federal government. His book, "The County Sheriff: America's Last Hope," is about that very thing.

Stewart Rhodes is the founder and Director of Oath Keepers. He served as a U.S. Army paratrooper until disabled in a rough terrain parachuting accident during a night jump.

He is a former firearms instructor and former member of Rep. Ron Paul’s DC staff.
