This profoundly moving documentary follows three young men who fled their war-torn county and eventually came to the US in 2001 as they return to their country to search for surviving friends and family to help Sudan rebuild after its devastating civil war. They have been spearheading efforts to raise funds to drill wells, build schools and provide medical care in South Sudan. These intrepid young men now in there 20’s will be present at this screening to introduce the film and lead a Q&A secession followed by a reception with light refreshments. Proceeds from ticket sales will be donated towards this effort.
